Georgianna M. Shevenock, 72, Gallitzin died June 2, 2017 at her home surrounded by her family. Born February 22, 1945 in Gallitzin the daughter of the late Joseph and Katherine (DiModica) Tonarelli. Preceded in death by sisters, Matilda Stock and Susie Butterbaugh and brothers Domenick, Nunzio and Alfred. Survived by her husband Michael whom she married July 2, 1966 ad children; Brenda (Jason) Eger - Gallitzin, Lori (Larry) Williams – Gallitzin, Michael – Butler, Dana (Ray) Claar – Lilly and Lisa (Justin) Galioto – Hollidaysburg, grandchildren, Brody, Colton, Cody, Eden, Ray III, Krista and Caiden and great grandson, Declan. Sister of Joseph (Joan) Tonarelli and Ronald (Dorothy) Tonarelli both of Baltimore, MD, Amelia Boggs – Pitcairn and Christine (Marty) Finklestine – Gallitzin. Worked as a trimmer for Eaglewear. A 1963 graduate of Bishop Carroll High School, Ebensburg. Georgiann enjoyed bingo and going to the casino’s. Member of Ladies Auxiliary to Gallitzin American Legion, Women of the Moose and St. Demetrius Catholic Church, Gallitzin where Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10am Tuesday the Rev. Albert Ledoux celebrant. Committal Resurrection Mausoleum, Gallitzin. At the request of the deceased there will be no viewing or visitation. The family suggest donations be made to Gallitzin Fire Company PO Box 41, Gallitzin, PA 16641 in Georgianna’s memory.
