Shawn Weatherwalk, 42, Altoona died March 7, 2017 in Altoona. Born June 29, 1974 in Altoona the son of Charles and Mary Ann (Phillips) Weatherwalk. Survived by his beloved wife the former Yvonne Geisler, daughters, Savannah and Shyanne Sunderland, step-children, Jill, Troy, Jenna and Olivia Geisler his parents of Altoona, brother, Henry (Marsha) – Mill Run and sisters, Julia (Eric) Wilt – Altoona and Bonnie (Ray) DeLoreto – Newton, NJ and numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. Army Veteran. Graduate of Altoona High School. Shawn enjoyed working on cars, going for walks, drives, fishing and avid Steeler’s fan. Friends will be received from 4 to 8pm Monday at Gibbons Funeral Home, 301 Church Street, Gallitzin where a vigil service will be held Monday. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10am Tuesday the Msgr. Michael Becker celebrant at St. Demetrius Catholic Church, Gallitzin. Committal St. Joseph Cemetery, Coupon. Military Rites by Gallitzin American Legion and other local military organizations.
