Nagle, Roberta “Berte” 89 of Cresson died December 11, 2012 at her residence. Born October 29, 1923 in Ashville the daughter of the late Ross and Mary (Connelly) Burgoon. Preceded in death by her sisters, Eletha and Dorothy Lewis, brothers, Ross and James. Survived by her husband of 66 years John “Red” and children:
Jack (Rita) – Gallitzin
Dennis – Cresson
Nancy (George) Handte – Harmony
5 grandchildren; Jimmy (Janice) Nagle, Scott (Courtney) Handte, Denise (Tony) Manganello, Susan (Richard) Rabish and Christine Handte, 5 great-grandchildren, Kaden, Brandon, Andrew, AJ and Teagan also a sister-in-law, Alma Burgoon – Ashville and numerous nieces and nephews. Last member of her immediate family.Berte loved to play bingo, golf, playing cards and going shopping with her daughter and granddaughter. Member of St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, Cresson where Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 9:30 am Saturday the Rev. Leo Arnone celebrant. Committal St. Francis Xavier Cemetery. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 pm Friday at Gibbons Funeral Home 301 Church Street, Gallitzin where a vigil service will be held Friday.
