Fabbri, Dolores 81 of Altoona formerly of Ashville died December 13, 2012 at the Lutheran Home, Hollidaysburg. Born July 17, 1931 in Gallitzin the daughter of the late Fred and Agnes (Webb) Sylvester. Preceded in death by her husband, Ralph C. on Feb. 26, 2007, sons, Thomas F. on Jan. 23, 2006 and Ralph A. on April 20, 1972, infant daughter Deborah Marie, grandson, Lance Corporal Ralph J. Fabbri killed in action in Afghanistan on Sept. 28, 2010, sister, Virginia Cronauer and brothers, John, Jim, Frank, Donald “Corky” and Fred. Survived by her children:
Randy (Beth) – Altoona
Renee (Bill) Thompson – Estes Park, CO
Timothy (Deb) – Ashville
Grandchildren, Kayla (Paul) Downey, Laura and Sara Thompson and Tim (Jennifer) Fabbri and great-granddaughters, Hailey and Harper. Last member of her immediate family. Dolores enjoyed spending time with her family, sewing and gardening. Member of St. Demetrius Catholic Church, Gallitzin where Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10am Monday the Rev. Albert Ledoux celebrant. Committal St. Francis Xavier Cemetery, Cresson. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 pm Sunday at Gibbons Funeral Home, 301 Church Street, Gallitzin. In lieu of flowers, please make contribution to her grandson’s art scholarship fund, Lance CPL Ralph Fabbri Art Scholarship % C&G Bank 1201 12th Street, Altoona, PA 16601 in Dolores memory.
