Lucy A. Shall (Dziabo) 96, Altoona, formerly of Gallitzin, went home to be with the Lord on April 26, 2024, at her residence surrounded by family. Born July 1, 1927, in Gallitzin, the daughter of the late John and Elizabeth (Kroskey) Dziabo Sr. Lucy was preceded in death by her husband, Anthony, on Jan. 3, 1994, as well as sisters, Matilda Stock, Elizabeth Marnecheck, and Josephine Dascanio, brothers, Edward, John, Anthony, and Bernard Dziabo and Joseph and Paul Stock. Survived by her daughters; Barbara (Sonny) Gailey, Patricia Klinedinst, and Antionette Pierce, grandchildren, Shari Wertz, Mona (Brian) Wilson, Alycia Jones, Ashley Heyward, Kristen Pierce, Casey (Edward) Adams, Ken Klinedinst, and Brennon (Courtney) Shall, 24 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren and a sister, Stella Phillips. A self-employed Caterer, owning Lucy Shall’s Catering. Lucy loved playing bingo, attending her grandchildren’s sporting events and making cookies. She was a life member of the Gallitzin American Legion Auxiliary and the Bavarian Aid Society of Altoona. A special thanks goes out to the many caregivers whom she loved so dearly. The Funeral Mass will be held at 11am on Monday at St. Demetrius Catholic Church, Gallitzin the Rev. Albert Ledoux celebrant. The committal will be held at St. Mary Cemetery. Friends received from 9am to 10:30 am Monday at Gibbons Funeral Home, 301 Church Street, Gallitzin.
