Catherine H. Burgan 101, Sankertown died March 23, 2019 at her home. Born Sept. 23, 1917 in Altoona the daughter of the late Anthony & Helen (Albright) Biseli.. Preceded in death by her husband Richard Sr. on May 20, 1989, sons, Richard Jr., Michael and Leonard and daughter Jacqueline Stock. Survived by children, Jean Oakes, Sylvia Knipple, Alan (Sunny), Roger (Debbie), Frances Walsh and Kevin, daughters-in-law, Debbie, Elaine and Audrey Burgan and son-in-law Paul Stock, 55 grandchildren, 35 great-grandchildren and 17 great great grandchildren. Last member of her family. Catherine enjoyed reading, music, keeping a daily log, knitting, crocheting, crewel, needle point, refinishing furniture She was also a good cook. She was born to soon because she wanted to go to space. Friends will be received from 4 to 8 pm Monday and 10 am until time of funeral service at 11am Tuesday at Gibbons Funeral Home, 301 Church Street, Gallitzin, PA 16641 the Rev.
