David A. Clossin

David A. Clossin, Ebensburg died May 1, 2017 at UPMC Altoona. The son of the late George W. and Marie (Landers) Clossin. Preceded in death by his wife the former Kathleen Anne “Kathy” Brosnahan on May 6, 1998, an infant sister Agnes Marie, sister Nancy Dashner and brother Albert. Survived by his children; Julie Clossin and her children, Ryan and Aiden, Cresson, Alicia Clossin and her children Sophia and Olivia, Gallitzin and Damian his wife Lisa and their daughter Adalyn, Baltimore, MD a companion, Michele Murray – Ebensburg, brother of Joyce (Larry) Rosian – Mantua, OH, Donna “Joan” (John) Vincent – Gallitzin, Timothy (Mary Ann) – Juniata, Cindy (Frank) Kowalski – Gallitzin and Bryan – Gallitzin and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Retired from Coca Cola in Ebensburg as a service tech. Known as Pappy Dave he enjoyed caring for his children and grandchildren, reading making people laugh and playing pranks on them, an avid Steelers and Penn State fan. Visitation will be held from 5 to 8 pm Friday at Gibbons Funeral Home, 301 Church Street, Gallitzin. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:30am Saturday at Holy Name Catholic Church, Ebensburg the Rev. Msgr. David Lockard celebrant. Committal St. Patrick Cemetery, Gallitzin.
