Eleanor M. (Watters) Watters

Eleanor M. “Nelnie” Watters 77 a resident of the Altoona for Center Nursing Care formerly of Tunnelhill died October 16, 2017 at UPMC Altoona. Born September 6, 1940 in Tunnelhill the daughter of the late John and Caroline (Pierzchala) Watters. Preceded in death by a sister Audrey Watkins and nephew’s John Thomas Watkins and Frank “Bud” and Joe Racz. Survived by a sister Geraldine Racz – Upland, brothers Tom (Patty) – Duncansville and Jack (Martha) – Hollidaysburg and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Eleanor was employed at various garment factories in Gallitzin. She loved and enjoyed visits from her family and friends and spending time with her friends and caretakers at the Center. At Eleanor’s request there will be no visitation or services. Committal will be held at the convenience of the family. Arrangements by Gibbons Funeral Home, 301 Church Street, Gallitzin, PA 16641.
