Helen M. Madonna 77, Gallitzin died June 12, 2018 at Maple Winds Care Center, Portage. Born April 14, 1941 in Altoona the daughter of the late William and Madeline (Boldizar) Troy. Preceded in death by her husband Francis J. on Jan. 14, 1988. Survived by children, Lisa (Gary) Lingafelt – Gallitzin and Robert (Tracey) – Cresson, grandchildren Nicholas, Tyler and Alexis Lingafelt, and Lauren, Mitchell and Jenna Madonna and great granddaughter Oaklyn, numerous sister and brother in laws and nieces and nephews, also special friends Carolyn Sylvester and Carol McLucas. Last member of her family. Helen worked as a secretary for Altoona Hospital and Carmelite Nuns. She enjoyed her children, grandchildren and great granddaughter. Avid fan of the Pirates, Steelers and Penn State. Member of Gallitzin Alumni Association and St. Demetrius Catholic Church, Gallitzin where Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 am Friday the Rev.
