James J. Bovin

James J.” Jimmy” Bovin 60, Cresson died June 26, 2017 after a courageous battle with cancer, at his home. Born March 19, 1957 in Spangler the son of the late John and Dorothy (Farabaugh) Bovin. Survived by; fiancée Susan Klinger, 2 sons, Sue’s family, Dawn Cain – Cresson, Jesse Klinger (Michelle) – Harber Heights, OH, Brittany Klinger – Pittsburgh, her grandchildren Bryton Wilt, Jessica Klinger, Hudson Klinger, Dae Shawn Christan, and one to be born in January. His sister Marie (Butch) Vinglish, Dysart nephews, Craig (Lynn) Vinglish – Dysart. Corey (Carrie) Vinglish, Dysart, great nieces and nephews, Katie, Marissa, Brody Jerzy, Kyra and Corbin. Member of Cresson Italian Club. Social member of Cresson and Lilly American Legions. Jimmy enjoyed his grandchildren especially Bryton. A 1975 graduate of Bishop Carroll High School. Worked as an engineer for Norfolk Southern Railroad. Visitation will be held Saturday from 2 to 4 pm followed by Funeral Service at Gibbons Funeral Home, 301 Church Street, Gallitzin, PA 16641 Pastor Dan Johnson officiating. In lieu of flowers please make donations to American Cancer Society in Jimmy’s memory.
