Jeffrey C. Sanker

Jeffrey C. Sanker 65, Duncansville died September 3, 2017 at UPMC Altoona. Born January 17, 1952 in Gallitzin the son of the late Charles J. and Gevevieve (Conrad) Sanker. Survived by his sister Fayeann Novak – Woodbridge, VA, an aunt Lois Heeter – Hollidaysburg and numerous cousins. A 1969 graduate of Penn Cambria High School and attended Vale Tech Institute. Army Veteran of Vietnam War having served as a Military Police Officer.  Member of Gallitzin American Legion. Jeff worked for Brumbaugh Body Co. and Fiore Auto as an Auto Body Technician.  Jeff taught ballroom dancing and enjoyed bowling, hunting and marksmanship. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10am Wednesday at St. Demetrius Catholic Church, Gallitzin the Rev. Albert Ledoux celebrant. Committal St. Francis Xavier Cemetery, Cresson. Friends will be received from 5 to 8 pm Tuesday at Gibbons Funeral Home, 301 Church Street, Gallitzin, PA 16641.
