Joan F. “MeMe” VanNest 83, Gallitzin died January 7, 2020 at Conemaugh Nason Medical Center, Roaring Springs. Born December 12, 1936 in Gallitzin the daughter of the late Leo and Beulah (Eberhart) Seymore Preceded in death by husband, Howard, sisters Elizabeth Chwatek, Jean Wheeler, infant Mary Leona and brother John Seymore. Survived by her children, Tammy (Tom) Dunmyer and Jeff (Brenda), also grandchildren Casey partner Ben and Russell and numerous nieces and nephews. Last member of her family. Joan worked as an inspector for Niagara Plastic’s in Cresson. She enjoyed camping, watching wrestling her cat Tanna Bug and especially her grandchildren. Member of St. Demetrius Church. Friends will be received from 9:30 am until time of Funeral Services at 11 am Saturday at Gibbons Funeral Home, 301 Church Street, Gallitzin the Rev. Albert Ledoux officiating.
