Bozella, Josephine A. “Josie” 90 Gallitzin died April 12, 2017 at her home. Born September 6, 1926 in Gallitzin the daughter of the late Andrew and Bertha (Dziabo) Skupien. Preceded in death by her husband Thomas on January 12, 2011, son Denis (Special Agent FBI) on December 21,1989. Brothers, Frank, Charles, Joseph, John Julius and Leo and sisters, Alice Koeck, Louise McAleer, brother’s and sister’s -in-law, Michael Koeck, Dail McAleer, Elda, Dorothy, Wanda and Peg Skupien and Rose (Grillo)Skupien. Survived by her daughter Andrea and husband George Pyo – Cresson, grandchildren Amber & Anthony Lipple and their children Caroline, Anthony and Grace - Ashburn, VA George and Katie Pyo and daughter Lily – Cresson and Maria Pyo – at home, sister’s-in-law, Della Skupien – Duncansville and Ruth Skupien – Cresson, special nephews, Ron “Skip” Skupien, and Bucky Skupien nieces, Mary Lou Moffitt, Michele Skupien, Becky Bimle and Lisa McAleer. Josie worked at SKF for many years. She enjoyed reading, making coffee for family and friends and entertaining her family. Member of St. Demetrius Catholic Church, Gallitzin where Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10am Tuesday the Rev. Albert Ledoux celebrant. Committal St. Mary Cemetery. Friends will be received from 2 to 8 pm Monday at Gibbons Funeral Home, 301 Church Street, Gallitzin where a vigil service will be held Monday. The family suggest donations be made to Denis T. Bozella Memorial Scholarship, 6 Country Club Road, Cresson, PA 16630 in Josie’s memory.
