Leo F. “Chub” Capouellez Jr. 57, Gallitzin died July 6, 2019 at his home. Born May 17, 1962 in Altoona the son of Leo F. Sr. and Matilda (DeCarlo) Capouellez. Survived by his wife the former Rhonda Birch whom he married July 9, 1994 and his children, Marcia Snyder, Michelle (Trevor) Metcalfe, Barbara (Martin) Karwowski, Sarah Snyder, Vanessa (James) Stuckless Clayton (Mariah Myers) Capouellez and Ian Capouellez, grandchildren, Connor, Owen, Charlotte, Florence, Allison, Edward, Michael, Brooke, Cade, Finn and Leo. also, his parents, sister Cathy (Ray) Keefe and brothers Glenn and Patrick and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. Worked as a route salesman for Utz Potato Chips. A 1980 graduate of Penn Cambria High School and graduate of Admiral Peary Vo-Tech as an LPN. Former member of Ashville Volunteer Fire Co and Gallitzin Area Ambulance Service. Chub enjoyed spending time with his family especially his grandchildren. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 am Wednesday at St. Thomas Catholic Church, Ashville the Rev. Robert Reese celebrant. Committal Amsbry Union Cemetery. Friends will be received from 4 to 8 pm Tuesday at Gibbons Funeral Home, 301 Church Street, Gallitzin, PA gibbonsfunerals.com
