Pauline Yeckley 89 Gallitzin died June 23, 20-19 at Altoona Center for Nursing. Born November 13, 1929 in Johnstown the daughter of the late Raymond and Pauline (Wesner) McDermit. Preceded in death by her husband Robert, sister Rose Mary and brothers James and Dr. John. Survived by her stepson, Robert Jr. (Robin) step grandchildren, Noell and James Wilson and Robert and Beth Yeckley, sister-in-law, Julia McDermit and niece Paula McDermit. Pauline loved animals caring for any strays in her neighborhood and as a caregiver for many people. Worked as a Register Nurse. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 am Tuesday July 9th at St. Demetrius Catholic Church where she served as a Eucharistic Minister and was a member of the choir and St. Vincent DePaul Society. Committal St. Patrick Cemetery. Arrangements by Gibbons Funeral Home, 301 Church Street, Gallitzin.
