Phillip P. “Phil” Pupo, 60, Mount Joy formerly of Cresson passed away on January 19, 2019 at Hospice and Community Care, Mount Joy. Born December 10, 1958 in Altoona the son of the late Francis P. and Mary Louise (Bradley) Pupo. He is survived by his wife the former Brenda Keim and a daughter Brenda Jo Benedict of Bainbridge, three grandchildren; Michael Benedict of Elizabethtown, McKenzie Benedict of Bainbridge and Anne Gordon of Bainbridge; brothers and sisters, Karen Nepa and husband, Tom of Cresson, Mary Ellen Sheridan and husband, James of Sankertown, William I. Pupo and companion, Sharon Hanlon, of Fort Pierce, Fla. And Timothy Pupo and wife, Lydia of Hollidaysburg; numerous nieces and nephews; and his “adopted” family. Preceded in death by two sisters; Catherine F. Pupo and Phyllis Ann Pupo. Phil worked at QVC, J.C. Penney and most recently the Mount Joy Diner. He enjoyed going out to new restaurants with his good friends, John and Dottie. Phil will be missed by his beloved cats, Allie and Sylvia. Friends will be received from 10 am until time of Funeral Service at 11 am Friday April 5, 2019 at Gibbons Funeral Home, 301 Church Street, Gallitzin, PA 16641 the Rev. Leo Arnone officiating.
