Rita A. (Willebran) Heiss

Rita A. Heiss 92 Ebensburg died April 11, 2018 at UPMC Altoona. Born December 20, 1925 in Munster Twp. daughter of the late Edward and Julia (Spinner) Willebran. Preceded in death by her husband Frank on Oct. 5, 2012, daughter Shirley Jean Anderson on Jan. 9, 2007 a sister Esther Nedimyer and a brother Raymond. Survived by her son-in-law John “Jay” (Lori Delgado) Anderson, grandchildren, Keith (Megan) Anderson and their children Carys and Cormac and Timothy (Brooke) Anderson and their children, Bennett, Stewart and Mazzie and a sister Velma (Arthur) Deering – Landisville. Rita volunteered at St. Vincent DePaul Society in Cresson for many years and enjoyed playing bingo. Member of the Basilica of St. Michael Catholic Church, Loretto where Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 9:00 am Saturday April 21,2018 the Very Rev. John J. Byrnes celebrant. Committal St. Michael Cemetery. Friends will be received from 7 to 8:30pm Friday April 20, 2018 at Gibbons Funeral Home, 301 Church Street, Gallitzin where a vigil service will be held at 7 pm.
