Robert E. "Bob" Jones

Robert E. “Bob” Jones 50, Gallitzin, passed away unexpectedly May 17, 2018 at UPMC Altoona. Born March 12, 1968 in Altoona the son of James C. Jr. and Theresa (Muriceak) Jones. Preceded in death by a daughter Kayla his father, in-laws Clair Jr. and Sally A. Conrad and a nieces Sarah Conrad. Survived by his wife the former Brenda Conrad whom he married Nov. 30, 1996 his mother of Gallitzin and these brothers and sisters; Christine Hoover (Paul Slonac), Debbie (Dave) Nileski; James (Kim); Rick (Theresa); and Steve (Mary Ann); Jeff (Mya); brother-in-law Mark (Sue) Conrad, and sister-in-law, Annette Romani (Brian Burkholder) and numerous nieces and nephews. Bob was a 1986 graduate of Penn Cambria High School. When he was not busy spending time with his wife and dog he would love to work on his Camaro or tinker with anything that had a motor. He also enjoyed decorating for Christmas. He will be missed by many. Friends will be received from 5 to 8 pm Sunday and from 8:30 am until time of Funeral Service at 10 am Monday at Gibbons Funeral Home, 301 Church Street, Gallitzin, PA 16641, the Rev. Msgr. Robert Mazur officiating. The family suggest donations be made to the Humane Society in Bob’s memory.
