Robert P. Villarreal

Robert P. Villarreal 88, Fayetteville formerly of Gallitzin died September 8, 2017 at home. Born February 5, 1928 in Gallitzin the son of the late John and Carlotta (Valles) Villarreal. Preceded in death by his wife the former Mary Pearl Ferguson in 1990, brother Arthur and sisters Christine Palko, Elva Seymore and Anita Villarreal. Survived by brothers and sisters, Evelyn McIntyre – Roanoke, VA, Dora Sockell – Norfolk, VA, John – Castro Valley, CA and Ronald – Hanover, MD and numerous nieces and nephews. A 1947 graduate of Gallitzin High. Bob worked as an accountant for the US Government. Army Veteran of Korean War. Member of VFW Post 1599, Chambersburg, Penn National Golf Club – Fayetteville, Gallitzin Alumni Assoc. and Corpus Christi Catholic Church. He was an avid golfer. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10am Tuesday at St. Demetrius Catholic Church, Gallitzin the Rev. Albert Ledoux celebrant. Committal St. Patrick Cemetery. Friends will be received from 5 to 8pm Monday at Gibbons Funeral Home, 301 Church Street, Gallitzin, PA 16641.
