Ronald J. Lupinetti

Ronald J. Lupinetti 82, Gallitzin died November 12, 2019 at UPMC Mercy- Pittsburgh. Born October 21, 1937 in Altoona the son of the late Pasquale and Vincenza (Impullitti) Lupinetti. Preceded in death by a daughter Melissa, brothers Anthony, James and Richard and sister Valia. Survived by his wife of 52 years the former Esther M. Baker whom he married July 27, 1967 at St. Patrick Church, Gallitzin and daughter and son-in-law Andrea and Victor Regan, two grandsons, Alec and Anthony, sisters-in-law, Susanne and Maria Lupinetti and Carole and Jerry Baker, numerous nieces, nephews, great and great -great nieces and nephews. Last member of his family. Ron worked as a supervisor for IU 8, A 1956 graduate of Gallitzin High, graduated from California State University, attended Penn State and St. Francis University and obtained his master’s in Special Education with a Supervisors Certificate from Indiana University. Ron enjoyed his 1960 Cadillac convertible, cooking and especially his grandsons. Member of St. Demetrius Catholic Church, Gallitzin where Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 am Saturday the Rev. Albert Ledoux celebrant. Committal St. Patrick Cemetery. Friends will be received from 4 to 8 pm Friday at Gibbons Funeral Home, 301 Church Street, Gallitzin.
