Monsignor Paul was a truly amazing man. My mother, Miriam Lenz, who was his first cousin loved him dearly.
Since moving to Virginia 25 years ago, I reconnected with Monsignor and my family got to know him, too. That was a great blessing.
We last saw him in March at Garvey Manor and he was, as ever, charming and delightful to chat with.
We will miss him. Condolences to all his family.

When I saw this I had so many happy memories of him,the fried oysters at our house with he and my dad watching the fights on Friday nights, visits to the chapel in Loretto, taking Mom and Dad to visit him in Washington in later years. What a kind, compassionate and gentle man. He will be quite the addition in heaven and welcomed with open arms. Prayers and peace

He did a great job as our pastor in Loretto during the 1960s and in running St. Michaels school were I received an outstanding education. I served mass for him many times. May he rest in peace.
