Barbara A. (Clossin) Noel

Barbara A. Noel, 83, Cresson died June 1, 2022, at her home, surrounded by her loved ones. Born May 10, 1939, in Gallitzin, the daughter of the late Thomas J. Sr. and Rose H. (Kochara) Clossin. Preceded in death by beloved grandson Michael McElheny, brother Thomas, and sisters Kathleen Clossin and Mary McMullen. Survived by her daughters; Michelle (Paul) Crynock, Sherry (Brian) Himes, and Connie (Bill) Henry, grandchildren Kristi McElheny, Angela Dunn, Jamie (Eric) Swank, Lindsey (Cameron) Sunderland, Adrianna, and Jelana Boldizar, and seven great-grandchildren. Sister of Patricia Racz, Shirley Piper, James (Sara) Clossin, Constance Clossin, and Louise Derrick and sister-in-law Judy Clossin.. Barbara came from a large and loving family, and she enjoyed sharing stories about her childhood. She often reminisced about going to Gallitzin's movie theater, going dancing, and picking huckleberries for her mother to bake into delicious pies. She loved music, crocheting, cooking, being outside, and helping others. Barbara was an incredibly devoted mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and sister. Her family meant everything to her. Member of St. Aloysius Catholic Church, Cresson where Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 am Friday the Rev. Leo Arnone celebrant. Committal St. Thomas Cemetery, Ashville.
