Claudia R. (Hertzog) McCool 72, formerly of Gallitzin died December 21,2020 in Corpus Christi, TX. Born October 9, 1948 in Altoona the daughter of the late Stewart and Rose (McCaa) Hertzog. Preceded in death by a brother Mark. Survived by her children, Matheu McCool (Brandy)  in FL, Christopher McCool and wife Katie in MO and Amanda Smart of Corpus Christi, TX, grandchildren, Austin (Morgan), Dylan, Kayla, Rebecca Ghylin, Gunner, Colton, Cannon, and Gage McCool Trevor and Kassidy Smart and  great-granddaughter, Sophia McCool siblings, M. Judine Hertzog, Gallitzin Gayle (Frank) Achuff Bakersfield, CA, Leah (Robert) Maher, Gallitzin and Eric of Gallitzin  and sister-in-law Edith Hertzog of Bellefonte and many nieces and nephews. She was employed by Voss Engineering of Corpus Christi. Graduate of Greater Gallitzin Joint High School, Class of 1966. Former member of St. Patrick Church / St. Demetrius Church, Gallitzin. Friends will be received from 10:15am Friday June 11,2021 until the time of Funeral Mass at 11 :00 am. the Rev. Albert Ledoux celebrant. Committal St. Patrick Cemetery.
