Dwight D. Dunsmore 78, Long Pond, PA died September 29, 2021, at St. Luke’s Hospital, Monroe County. Born January 28,1943 in Johnstown the son of the late William and Mary (Kondisko) Dunsmore. Preceded in death y brothers, Bruce, Bill, Bernie, and Dale. Survived by his wife the former Sharon Dixon whom he married October 15, 1999, in Bensalem, sons Douglas Dunsmore, Michael Dunsmore, stepsons, Bryan (Karen) Dixon, Robert (Gale) Sherick and William (Maria) Sherick, 8 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren, brother, Jim Dunsmore and sister Deborah Dunsmore and many nieces and nephews. Navy Veteran of the Vietnam War. Worked as a Crain Operator for the Fairless Hills Steel Mills. Friends will be received from 2 to 5 pm Sunday at Gibbons Funeral Home, 301 Church Street, Gallitzin where a Funeral Service will be held Monday at Noon the Rev. Leo Arnone officiating.
