Ernest “Ray” Kephart 88, Gallitzin died March 23, 2020 at his home. Born February 6, 1932 in Coalport the son of the late Ernest W. and Beatrice (Maines) Kephart. Preceded in death by his wife the former Theresa Healy on December 6, 2013, daughter Jeanne on February 17, 2020, sons Joseph on August 9, 1980, Ernest “Ray” on November 6, 1994 and Michael on March 26, 2006, brothers Fred and Eugene. Survived by daughters; Patty (Jim) Derosa, Mary Ellen Urbanek, Ann Graeff, Denise (Ken) Hite, Theresa (Joe) Remacle, Linda (Russ) Bruce, Susan (Gene) Ratay and Diane (Rob) Warren, 24 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren and a sister Shirley (John) Kilby. Ray enjoyed spending time with his family and his favorite grand dog Biscuit, going to family dinners, long walks in the woods, sunny days, watching birds in his feeder, digging for bottles and ramps, berry picking, canning, sudoku puzzles, hunting, gardening, watching sports, playing horseshoes, writing anecdotes and listening to his favorite band - Full Kilt. Member of St. Demetrius Catholic Church, Gallitzin. All services will be private due to the public health concerns of the coronavirus. Committal St. Patrick Cemetery.
