Evelyn C. Mazzocco 93, Gallitzin died February 2, 2020. Born June 11, 1926 in Gallitzin the daughter of the late Paul and Letezia (Maruca) Raymond. Preceded in death by her husband Gregory on July 17,1987, daughter Deborah Capriotti on May 4, 2016, brothers Adolph and Alfred. Survived by daughters; Paula Mazzocco and her husband Anthony Pizzutelli and Lee Ann (Mark) Leapman and son-in-law Dr. Thomas Capriotti, grandchildren, Dr. Gregory Capriotti, Danielle (Nicholas) Sefchok, Loren (Brandon) Pacchioni, Anthony Pizzutelli and Daniel Leapman, great-grandchildren, Cameron, Lyla, Nina and a grandchild to be born in March and numerous nieces and nephews. Last member of her family. A 1944 graduate of Gallitzin High School where she was point guard on the basketball team. Early in life she worked at the Pentagon from 1944 - 1946 Evelyn enjoyed orchestra’s big band and dances at the Oriental where she meet Greg, watching football and spending time with her family. Evelyn had a sense of humor, a smile, youthful & energetic and loved her family. Member of St. Demetrius Catholic Church, Gallitzin where Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 am Friday the Rev.
