George F. “Frank” Smyers 79, a resident of Maple Heights Rehabilitation Center, Ebensburg died August 12, 2023, at the center. Born October 22, 1943, in W. Providence Twp. Bedford County, son of the late George S. and Mary (Bulger) Smyers. Preceded in death by brothers, Thomas, and Raymond,1/2 brother, Roy Isabell, and a sister Dorothy Winck. Survived by his children, Sherry (Kerry) Sauter, Brian (Christy) Smyers, Stacy Smyers, Jeffrey Smyers, Christina Smyers and Amanda Smyers, grandchildren, Lea (Michael) Finnigan, Michael Sauter fiance Paige Bougher, Tyler Smyers, Hunter Smyers, Benji Smyers, Blaze Smyers, Brandon Smyers, Bethany (Billy) Midgett and Brady Hogue, great-grandchildren, Elijah, Carson, Erin, Phoebe, Micah, Alyssia, Ellianna and Samuel, last member of his family. Navy Veteran. Frank loved fishing, hunting and especially his grand and great-grandchildren. At the request of the deceased there will be no services.
