Helen A. (Beck) Mandichak

Helen A. Mandichak, 82, Gallitzin died August 9, 2023, at Memorial Medical Center, Johnstown. Born February 6, 1941, in Gallitzin, the daughter of the late Martin and Mary (Tutko) Beck. Preceded in death by a sister, Theresa Billings on August 7, 2022. Survived by her loving husband of 61 years Thomas whom she married September 30, 1961, and these children, Marty (Michele) and Colleen (Donnie) Malloy, grandchildren, Bobby (Nikki) Burk, Amy (Richard) Horn, Tommie Mandichak, Lindsay (Mitch) Chirdon and Mark (Becca) Malloy, great-grandchildren, Finn, Jayden, and Cole. also, sister Mary Margaret Weise and brother Robert (Joyce) Beck, special nieces and nephews, Michele Lacovitch, Chris Cuomo, Andrea, Bob and Jason Beck and Josh Billings and numerous other nieces and nephews. Helen loved playing bingo, going to the casinos, traveling to the Outer Banks in North Carolina, going on rides and especially her grandkids and her family. Member of St. Demetrius Catholic Church, Gallitzin where Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 am Monday the Rev. Albert Ledoux celebrant. Committal Resurrection Mausoleum, Gallitzin. Friends will be received from 4 to 8 pm Sunday at Gibbons Funeral Home, 301 Church Street, Gallitzin where a vigil service will be held Sunday. The family suggest donations be made to St. Demetrius Church, Gallitzin Fire Co., or Ashville Fire Co. in Helen’s memory.
