Joseph E. Knopp

Joseph E. Knopp 89, Loretto a resident of John Paul Manor, Cresson died August 11, 2020 at UPMC Altoona. Born June 19, 1931 in Munster Twp. the son of the late James and Magdalene (Willenbrand) Knopp. Preceded in death by brothers, Ferd and James and sister Olive Bearer, Mary Beiswenger and Margaret Lee, Edna Boist, Myrtle Lilly, and Vera Lingafelt. Survived by numerous nieces, and nephews, Joe worked as a brick layer assistant for Bethlehem Steel. Joe enjoyed gardening and listening to blue grass music. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 pm Friday at Gibbons Funeral Home, 301 Church Street, Gallitzin followed by Funeral Service at 7 PM Deacon Richard Golden, officiating. Committal at the convenience of the family.
