Josephine M. (Fucina) Bertocchi

Josephine Marie Bertocchi 91, a longtime resident of Gallitzin died December 10,2020 at Just Like Home Personal Care, Cresson. She was born August 19, 1929 in Coupon the daughter of the late Paul and Catherine Fucina. Preceded in death by a sister Kathryn Reinhart and brothers, Arthur and Ulise. On May 15, 1954 she married James Bertocchi in St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, Coupon. Her husband of 66 years survives her, also four sons: Joe (Patty) of Morris Planes, NJ, Jim of Raleigh, NC, John (Candi) of Reading and Dave of State College and her daughter Renee (Bruce) Grace of Lexington, KY, four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren also one sister Amelia (Tony) Ciavarella of Coupon. She enjoyed spending time with her family, listening to music, reading, gameshows, and doing various puzzles. Josephine was a1946 graduate of Gallitzin High School and was a member of St. Demetrius Catholic Church, Gallitzin where Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 am Tuesday the Rev. Albert Ledoux celebrant. Committal St. Patrick Cemetery. There will be no viewing or visitation. Our family would like to thank the caregivers from Just Like Home and UPMC Family Hospice Service for the care they provided her.
