Kathleen "Kathy" (McConnell) Johnston

Kathleen M. “Kathy” Johnston 66, Boise, ID formerly of Gallitzin died February 21,2020 in Idaho. Born October 24, 1953 in Altoona the daughter of the late James and Geraldine (Hughes) McConnell. Preceded in death by her husband James on August 9, 2004 and sister Shirley Delozier. Survived by children Patricia McConnell (Roy), Jamie McConnell, Wanda Johnston and Patrick (Jeannette) Johnston, grandchildren, Kristine (Jarren) Hatfield, Harley Pigza (fiance Jordan Emerson), Nathaniel, Samantha, Jacob, Whitney, Cody and Brynn, great-grandchildren Ayden, Logen, Taven, Jaxen, Sage, Stormie, Josh and Daymere. Sister of Daniel (Mary Lou) McConnell, Roxanne Dignan, Debra McGarvey, Jeffrey McConnell. A 1971 graduate of Penn Cambria High School. Worked for Lucy Shall Catering for many years and Target. Coached the VFW Little League Team. Was an avid bingo player and enjoyed playing cards. A Committal Service will be held at 5pm Friday March 6, 2020 at St. Patrick Cemetery, Gallitzin, the Rev.
