Lawrence “Pete” Litzinger 84, Altoona died peacefully February 22, 2022, at his home. Born March 27, 1937, in Amsbry the son of the late Gordon and Julia (Blakney) Litzinger. Preceded in death by a son Brian in 2002 and all his siblings. Survived by his loving wife the former Shirley Vinich whom he married July 12, 1958, a daughter Brenda (Todd) Loesch and a son Pete and fiance Margaret Marr, grandson and his wife Matt and Rachel Litzinger and their children Madison and Maysen, grandson Michael James and a special niece Faith Ann Zolna. Pete was the last member of his family. Pete was a truck Driver for Masland Trucking in Carlisle. Army Veteran of the Vietnam War. Member of Ashville VFW. Pete loved golfing and going fishing. At Pete’s request there will be no viewing or visitation. Arrangements by Gibbons Funeral Home, 301 Church Street, Gallitzin, PA 16641
