Linda "Lyn" (Kupfer) Burkhardt

Linda “Lyn” Burkhardt 71, Cresson passed away August 28, 2021, at UPMC Altoona surrounded by her loving family. Born September 11, 1949, in Yorkville, NY the daughter of the late John and Margaret (Schneider) Kupfer. Preceded in death by a brother Herb Kupfer. Survived by her husband Kenneth of 26 years whom she married August 21,1995 and three children, Joseph Granato Jr. - Tampa, FL, Dawn Miller – Bushkill, and Michele Bradley – Cresson and her loving grandchildren. Lyn was a bus driver for Wilkinson’s Bus Company for a few years before becoming an employee at St. Francis University for 23 years and retiring in 2020. She enjoyed playing bingo, going on cruise’s, gardening, hummingbirds and watching Law and Order and judge’s shows. Friends will be received from 1 to 5 pm Tuesday at Gibbons Funeral Home, 301 Church Street, Gallitzin followed by a Funeral Service at 5 pm the Rev. Leo Arnone officiating. Committal Resurrection Mausoleum, Gallitzin.
