Mario "Butch" Bukowski

Mario “Butch” Bukowski 71 Gallitzin died July 30, 2020 at his home. Born September 29, 1948 in Gallitzin the son of the late Jennie Bukowski. Survived by his wife the former Debra Nagle whom he married November 20, 1971 and these children, Tonya, Keith and wife Jacque, and Sabrina and Harry Cruthers, grandchildren Kaine, Spencer Desiree and husband Randy McCloskey, Deven and Derek, great-granddaughter Riley and a grandchild to be born in January. Brother of his twin sister, Mary Ann Clossin, and brothers John “Sonny” (Bonnie) Bukowski and Robbie Bukowski and numerous nieces and nephews. Retired for SCI Cresson as a Correction Officer in 2010. Marine veteran of Vietnam War. Member of Gallitzin American Legion, Loyal Order of Moose, Sportsmen’s Club, and former member Gallitzin VFW., Butch enjoyed being with his grandchildren and his family and doing crossword puzzles. There will be no viewing or visitation. A Funeral Mass will be held Monday August 3rd at 11 am at St. Demetrius Catholic Church, Gallitzin the Rev. Albert Ledoux celebrant. Committal St. Patrick Cemetery. Military graveside Rites by Gallitzin American Legion and other local military organizations. Arrangements by Gibbons Funeral Home, 301 Church, Gallitzin.
