Mary P. Marlett

Mary P. Marlett 91, Cresson died September 2, 2020 at Maybrook Hill Rehabilitation Center. Born June 14,1929 in Ashville the daughter of Joseph and Walburga (Stoy) Marlett. Preceded in death by brother Merle and sisters, Rose Marie Voss, and Regina Billetdeaux. Survived by sisters, Margaret Marlett and Orvita Darcy and numerous nieces and nephews, Mary served as a sacristan in the Catholic Church. Graduate of Mount Aloysius High School in 1948. Mary enjoyed sewing, crocheting, cleaning the church, singing in the choir, and was a former Eucharistic Minister. She was a member of St. Aloysius Catholic Church, Cresson where Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 9:30am Saturday the Rev. Leo Arnone celebrant. Committal church cemetery. Friends will be received from4 to 7 pm Friday at Gibbons Funeral Home, 301 Church Street, Gallitzin where a vigil service will be held Friday evening.
