Mary Lou (Michelangelo) Healy

Mary Lou “Lou Lou” Healy, 65 Gallitzin died October 27, 2022, at her home after a lengthy battle with cancer. Born February 7, 1957, in Altoona the daughter of the late Mark A. “Rudy’ and Ida (Matteucci) Michelangelo. Preceded in death by her sister Cheryl “Miss Mike” on January 27, 2020, and an infant brother Samuel. Survived by her husband Patrick whom she married January 24, 2014, stepdaughter Erin and her children Mackenzie and Peyton, brother Mark and fiance Paula Passanita, an aunt Betty Michelangelo and numerous cousins Mary Lou worked as a nurse’s aide for UPMC Altoona. A 1975 graduate of Penn Cambria High School. She enjoyed spending time with Mackenzie and Peyton. Cooking, and decorating for the holidays. Member of Ladies of the Gallitzin Moose, Gallitzin American Legion Ladies Auxilary and St. Demetrius Catholic Church, Gallitzin where Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 am Monday October 31st, the Rev. Albert Ledoux celebrant. Committal St. Francis Xavier Cemetery, Cresson. Arrangements by Gibbons Funeral Home, 301 Church Street, Gallitzin.
