Philip DeLozier Obituary

Philip A. DeLozier 65 Hollidaysburg died October 28, 2021, at UPMC Altoona. Born April 29, 1956, in Altoona the son of Gordon L. and Mary (Horvath) DeLozier. Preceded in death by his father on April 23, 2016. Survived by his wife the former Lugene T. Carmosino whom he married June 25, 1983, at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church, Gallitzin.  He is survived by his mother Mary, brothers Douglas (Denise), Mark (Joann), Matthew, Stephen (Melody), father-in-law, Valgene Carmosino. brother-in-law, Nicholas (Mary Jo) Carmosino, nieces and nephews, Dane, Nicholas, Levi (Alice), Marika, Isaac, Grant, Jacob, Jesse, Deanne, Nicholas (Kelly) and Angela (Josh), great niece and nephews, Devi, Nico and Deckar. Also by a special friend and brother Ian Hanwell who went through thick and thin together. Phil was vice-president of Gordon L. DeLozier Inc.   He was an honorary Life member of Phoenix Volunteer Fire Co, Hollidaysburg where he was Grand Marshall of the Halloween Parade in 2018. Graduate of Hollidaysburg High School in 1974 and was known as "Phil-Thrill" DeLozier for his accomplishments as running back for the football team. He was also the "go to" guy.  If he didn't know the answer, he would find the answer.  He was always doing good deeds for people and helping others out in time of need. He was a  member of the Hollidaysburg Water Authority and St. Mary’s Catholic Church where he was on parish council and a former finance committee member. Viewings will be held at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Hollidaysburg from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM Tuesday and Funeral Mass at 10 am Wednesday the Rev. Alan Thomas celebrant.
