Raymond M. “Demon” Driskel, 65, Ebensburg died unexpectedly April 19, 2023, in West Virginia. Born February 23, 1958, in Colver, the son of the late Russell and Regina “Jean” (Hite) Driskel. Preceded in death by brother, Rick, infant brother, Glenn, and nephew, Jared. Survived by his significant other Diane Roudybush Lee, children, Dalton and Marissa Lee, Beth (Don) Mento, Jessica (John) Eckenrode, Russell (Melissa), Ryan (Gabbi Martin), mother of his children Patricia Jo (Hall) Driskel, grandchildren, Mason, Bryce, Sadie, James and Kade, brother of Lois Duman, Joyce (Bill) Krug, Mick (Mary) Driskel, Jane Ann (Bruce) Schlosser, Ernie (Carol) Driskel and sister-in- law, JoAnna Driskel, special nephew Sean Moran along with numerous nieces, nephews, cousin, aunts and uncles. Ray worked for Hite Coal Yard and previously owned Ray’s Excavating and worked for Cooney Bros. Coal Co. and was a member of Local 66 Operator’s Union. Member of the Gallitzin and Cresson Italian Clubs, Sons of the American Legion, Loretto and social member of Sankertown VFW. Enjoyed 4 H, hunting, riding his Harley, spending time in the barn and running heavy equipment. Friends will be received from 2 to 8 pm Monday at Gibbons Funeral Home, 301 Church Street, Gallitzin. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 am Tuesday at The Basilica of St. Michael Church, Loretto the Rev. Malachi Van Tassell celebrant.
