Obituary

Robert L. Evon 76, Gallitzin died March 26, 2023, at UPMC Altoona. Born June 8, 1946 in Altoona the son of the late Louis J. and Catherine S. (Reagan) Evon. Survived by cousins Thomas (Brenda) Pigza, Mary Anne Amer, David (Wendy) Pigza, Cecelia (Kevin) Lenz, Linda (Evon) Rose, Kathryn (Roger) Kavanshanski and Tyburtus (Cindy) Lenz. Bob worked as a coal miner for Bethlehem Mine 33. A 1965 graduate of Bishop Carroll High School, Ebensburg. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and going to camp. There will be no viewing or visitation. Arrangements by Gibbons Funeral Home, 301 Church Street, Gallitzin.
