Robert J. “Murph” Stevens a resident of Hillview Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center, Altoona formerly of Cresson died October 20, 2020 at the center. Born April 20, 1935 in Lilly the son of the late Joseph and Geraldine (Moyer) Stevens. Preceded in death by his wife the former Sylvia A. Cox on July 8, 2003, sons, Robert E. and Randal, brothers Francis “Futz”, Ronald and sister Janet. Survived by daughter Kimberly, grandchildren, Kristen, Kelsey, Blake and Sean and 7 great-grandchildren, a sister Elizabeth “Betty” Michelangelo, sisters-in-law, Mary Stevens and Peggy Stevens and numerous nieces and nephews. At the request of the deceased there will be no viewing or visitation. Committal at the convenience of the family at St. Francis Xavier Cemetery, Cresson. Arrangements by Gibbons Funeral Home, 301 Church Street, Gallitzin.
