Ronald "Whitey" McCloskey

Ronald A. “Whitey” McCloskey 66 of Frostburg, MD formerly of Gallitzin died March 1, 2021 at UPMC Western Hospital, Cumberland. Born October 9, 1954 in Altoona the son of the late Regis and Ann (Stitko) McCloskey. Preceded in death by a daughter Jennifer Morten and a sister Shelia Hall. Survived by brothers and sisters, Regis (Rita), Jack (Ingrid), Richard (Gracie), Danny, Robert (Gail) Jim (Margaret), Dorsay (Frank) Kupetz, Donna Smithbower, Cindy (Jim) Petzak, Patty Guyer, Holly (Ed) Carper and Georgette (Ken) Arthurs and many nieces and nephews. A Navy Veteran of the Vietnam War. A graveside service will be held at 10:00 am Wednesday March 3, 2021 at St. Patrick Cemetery, Gallitzin the Rev. Albert Ledoux officiating. Arrangement by Gibbons Funeral Home, 301 Church Street, Gallitzin. Military Rites by local military organizations.
