Russell "Rusty" Hodgson

Russell A. (Rusty) Hodgson 57 of Mount Wolf, PA. formally of Gallitzin PA. passed away on January 1, 2022, surrounded by his loving family after a battle with Brain Cancer.

Rusty was born May 4, 1964, he was the son of William Hodgson Jr and Donna (Christy)Hodgson.

He was preceded in death by his wife Dawn (Noland), father William Jr, and brothers; William III, and Robert.

Rusty left behind two sons: Russell (Courtney) and son Benjamin Hodgson.

Surviving are his mother Donna, sister; Cindy Schuchart (Andy), brothers; Ralph (Karen), Ronald, Richard (Keith), and Randy, and many nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family, and friends.

Rusty loved to laugh and have fun, he loved music, the outdoors, he lived and breathed fishing. When you couldn't find him at home, you could find him at the river fishing. Rusty will be sadly missed by many.

Funeral Mass will be held April 8, 2022, at 11:00 a.m. at St. Demetrius Activity Center, 616 Church Street Gallitzin, PA 16641. Burial will be at St. Francis Xavier Cemetery, Cresson, Pa. 16630. Memorial contributions may be made to your local Hospice, or to the American Cancer Society.
