Sister Madeleine C. Bernard 88, Little Sisters of Jesus, Baltimore, MD formerly of Gallitzin died October 28, 2021. Born in Estaires, France the daughter of the late Paul and Marie Louise (Wattez) Bernard. Preceded in death by brother Paul, sister Cecile and infant sister Paule Marie. Survived by brothers Jules, Pierre and Jean-Marc and sisters Andree, Jeanne, and all the Little Sisters of Jesus. Due to construction of the church, Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 am Saturday December 4, 2021, at St. Demetrius Activity Center, 714 Foster Street, Gallitzin, PA 16641 the Rev. Albert Ledoux celebrant. Committal St. Patrick Cemetery. Arrangements by Gibbons Funeral Home, 301 Church Street, Gallitzin.
