Thomas B. “Chief” Reese Jr. 87 Cresson formerly of Altoona died June 12, 2022 at UPMC Altoona. Born May 8, 1935 in Altoona the son of the late Thomas B. and Margaret (Miller) Reese. Preceded in death by sisters, Edna McConnell and Dolores Fockler. Survived by his children, Randy, Brenda and Bill and his family at Just Like Home in Cresson. Tom worked as a mechanic at Small Tubes and SKF and a brakeman for the railroad. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, playing bingo and kidding around. He was a Korean War Veteran. A visitation will be held from 1 to 2 pm Friday followed by the funeral services at 2 pm at Gibbons Funeral Home, 301 Church Street, Gallitzin. Military rites by Gallitzin American Legion and other local military organizations.
