Victoria C. “Vickie” Gjurich 100, Cresson died October 14, 2019 at UPMC Altoona. Born November 11, 1918 in Gallitzin the daughter of the late Carlo and Zelmira (Bertoccini) Fabbri. Preceded in death by her husband Milan Sr. on October 3, 1985, sisters, Alice, Theresa Roach, Agnes Bricca, Louise Sprouse, Eleanor Longosky and Nellie Tragon and brothers Fedo and Gino. Survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Milan and Janice Gjurich, granddaughter Dr. Dana Gjurich and her husband Dr. Greg Caldwell and their son Gregory Anthony, brothers-in-law, Sylvester Gjurich and Mitch Saula, and numerous nieces and nephews. Last member of her immediate family. Vickie enjoyed reading, cooking, keeping her house clean, watching Steelers and Penn State Football and basketball A 1938 graduate of Gallitzin High School and retired from the Cambria County Assement Office, Ebensburg as a clerk. Oldest member of Gallitzin Alumni. Member of St. Aloysius Legion of Mary, Cambria County Retirement Association and St. Demetrius Catholic Church, Gallitzin where Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 am Friday the Rev. Albert Ledoux celebrant. Committal St. Francis Xavier Cemetery, Cresson. Friends will be received from 2 to 8 pm Thursday at Gibbons Funeral Home, 301 Church Street, Gallitzin. gibbonsfunerals.com
