William J. Pupo 90, Cresson died December 9, 2020 at Homewood at Martinsburg. Born April 16, 1930 in Altoona the son of the late Samuel and Julia (Leonetti) Pupo. Preceded in death by his wife the former Rose Marie McClure on August 29, 2007, sons William Jr. and Joseph and all his brothers and sisters. Survived by his children, James (Connie), Judy (Jim) Laverick, Nancy (Jeff) Vaughn, Susan (Michael) Perehinec, and Mary Beth Pupo, grandchildren; Becky (Paul) Roberts, Jason Pupo, Christopher (Claire) Petney, Jennifer Bagdon, Melissa (Andrew) Lafferty, Jeffery (Stephanie) Vaughn, Michael (Karli) Buday, Nicholas (Allison) Perehinec, Chelsea Perehinec (Luca Farino), 6 great-grandchildren. Last member of his immediate family. Bill worked for Bethlem Steel. Bill started the Little League Baseball in Sankertown, he enjoyed baseball especially Little League. He enjoyed golfing, fishing, and jogging. He was a graduate of Cresson High School Class of 1948 and served as Class President. Former member of Penn Cambria School Board and Cresson Borough Council. Member of St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, Cresson. A private viewing and funeral mass will be held at the convenience of the family. Committal St. Francis Xavier Cemetery.
